Origin: Truro, Cornwall before 1800

Disease Resistance: Some scab resistance but susceptible to canker. Partial tip bearer.
Fruit: A very distinctive oblong-conical shaped apple Sweet, intensely aromatic and rich. Becomes flowery with age
Picking Season: Late/very late
Storage: Keeps until January.
Uses: Dessert
Recommendations: Well suited to our wetter climate and mild winters. A justifiably popular apple.
