Wassailing in Whimple

Whimple was home of Whiteways Cyder. Sadly, production ceased a few years back now. However, many of the old orchards are still there and apples from them still go to make cyder; alas not in Devon though.

In 2003 Whimple History Society opened its Heritage Centre. They have thousands of photos and artefacts connected with the village over the past 150 years. Much of them to do with cyder making and the orchards; Whimple was Whiteways.
