Moderately vigorous tree. Medium/large apple, bluish-purple colour. very distinctive.
A vintage quality cider apple, capable of making good quality single variety cider. Believed to be a seedling of Dabinett but producing larger fruit and a more vigoeous, heavier cropping tree.
