Ponsford
A vigorous, heavy cropping tree. Large flat, grass-green apples. Some russeting with a greasy skin.
Cream flesh, very juicy and soft. It keeps its shape when cooked and has good texture.
Good for juicing as well as cider.
An excellent old variety.
