Tremletts Bitter

A moderately vigorous, upright, spreading tree. Heavy cropping and grown in modern cider orchards.Flowers are very frost resistant. A medium sized, conical fruit , that drops when ripe. Deep red. A good quality cider apple, making a pleasant single variety cider. Very high tannin content. Not one to take bite from unless you want to taste it for the rest of the day.
